I've had several acquaintances who've had this organization inspect their fireplace with report of it being "Dangerous" with a quote of $10k+ to resolve the issue. Only to find other reputable sources to inspect and confirm there is not only any "danger" but no structural issues at all with the fireplace. BEWARE!!

Chimney Specialists is worth just to visit the showroom. George Breiwa and his staff are very knowledgeable about chimney and stove service and they have working (burning) displays in the three room showroom to give you a great idea how each appliance works. When we visit Wisconsin we always make a point to head over to Highland from Madison and say hello. If we still had a home in Wisconsin, Chimney Specialists would be the company for us for chimney sweep services, stoves and fireplace stuff. Great people and a great store to match!
So disappointed in their service. Called to schedule for our chimney cleaning back in July and got an appointment for Oct. 12th. Took off of work early for appointment between 3:30 and 4:30. Never showed, no call, no nothing. I called and left a message after 5 that night. They called back the next day and left a message stating that yes they missed it and could reschedule for November and to call back and confirm. Going with a different company who could get us in next week.
